There’s always been a guy in my life who I am completely obsessed with and/or devastated by. It’s the same formula each time: great sex, he’s aloof and emotionally reserved, I agonize over his text messages. I feel like shit during the entire thing, but I crave his attention/validation so much,…

Does she ever stop killing it on the completely relevant advice?

Taking naked pictures of yourself does not make you a bad person. People who share them without your permission are bad people.

astro-zombabe said: How can you say that "skinny shaming" doesn't exist when there's plenty of girls out there that get mistaken for having eating disorders all the time? Getting told to eat a cheese burger, or asked if I'm going to throw that up later isn't an attack to you?

Okay please don’t get me wrong, I understand that the occasional negative comment on your weight is personally hurtful to you. I am in no way saying that you are not allowed to feel hurt or victimised by people who choose to be nasty about your weight/size, because you totally are.

You surely understand, however, that no matter how many times you are told to “eat a cheeseburger”, you can turn on any television channel, open any magazine, refresh any social media page, and see your body type upheld as ‘perfect’, ‘the picture of health’, ‘more attractive’ etc, whereas larger women often have to go out of their way to see their bodies portrayed in a positive light, rather than displayed as a ‘Before’ image in a weight loss ad, right?

Once again, I acknowledge my own thin privilege too, but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna get mad when Nicki Minaj writes a song for fat girls instead of for me, for once in my life.

One day last semester I was on the bus heading to class and I was like ‘fuck class started ten minutes ago I’m going to be late again.

And then I looked down and realized that my professor was in the seat in front of me editing his powerpoints for the class that we were both supposed to be in.
